We started the Quinnell candle family business in 2009, driven by creating an affordable candle that burnt properly using as many natural ingredients as we could. So we attended two courses in London, one was candle making and the other perfume making so that we could fully understand the ingredients that we were using and how they affect your mood and sensory glands.
In 2011 after 18 months of experimenting we created our new company which went from strength to strength with over 170 stockists in Wales, England and Ireland. 

We retired in 2023 for 6 months, before realising that we felt too young to retire, after receiving so many thoughtful messages from our wonderful customers and we both were still missing and yearning for a creative outlet but on a downsized level to keep costs down and decided to reopen but sell direct to the public.

So we decided to come back but slightly different this time so we changed the name to natural and welsh and are now making a come back relaunching with a more organic approach.
